Well the sun was out in parts and the day was a little windy, but what a great fun it the Blendworth Fete turned out to be!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy the day and to all our stall holders, games coordinators, chefs and volunteers!

And a massive thank you to Morrisons Supermarket for the refreshments sponsorship and to RKdia Catering for the tents and equipment; TS TENACITY NTC Band for playing; the Forest of Bere Bowmen for the archery; Waterlooville Rotary Club for looking after the car park and playing their ukeleles; Blendworth Brass Band for playing such great music, Cowplain Guides for the cakes and support and John Merrell for the brilliant historic Horndean photographs.

A special thank you too to Councillor Elaine Tickell who not only opened the event for us but sponsored the fete too through her Community Grant Scheme.

Another very special thank you goes to Kim O’Brien who for the second year in a row allowed us to hold the event in the grounds of Blendworth House!

If you came along and enjoyed the event please tell your family and friends and also if you know of anyone who would like to have a stall at next year’s fete, please email us at office@bcichurches.org.uk

We are planning to do it all again so please put Saturday 9th June 2018 in your diaries now!
