The Ickle Pickle Charity, which for us is based at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, has benefitted from the Christmas Tree Card and Christmas Coffee Morning fundraising initiative held at Holy Trinity and Church Centre, Blendworth.
The congregation was offered the chance to write a card ‘bauble’ and with it, decorate the church Christmas tree. Instead of sending Christmas cards it was suggested that a donation for this charity would be a wonderful gesture and we were delighted with the response.
The usual Thursday Coffee Morning at the Church Centre (0930-1130am) made a fantastic contribution to the fund as it became the ‘Christmas Coffee Morning’! Fun alround for a good cause!
Ickle Pickles are the smallest and sickest babies who need intensive care in Neonatal Units. Whether born too soon or with an illness the NHS cares for over 20,000 Ickle Pickles every year. The Ickle Pickle Partnership turns gifts and donations from generous people into specialised equipment such as incubators and ventilators to help Neonatal units provide incredible levels of care for Ickle Pickles. The High Dependency Unit at Queen Alexandrea Hospital Cosham cares for many Ickle Pickles and is always grateful for the support from various fundraising groups .

A big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this charity during the Christmas period. We will soon be sending £261.87 to the High Dependency Unit at Queen Alexandra Hospital.
