Fete ready to Party!

The fete always takes place on the second Saturday of June!

Owing to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 fete has been cancelled.  Please put ther new date in your diary – Saturday 12th June 2021

This is what we have been doing in previous years

Come and join us for this local community fun event in the grounds of Blendworth House in Crabden Lane, Horndean (adjacent to Holy Trinity Church) which was opened in 2019 by Councillor Elaine Tickell.
Our regular supporting entertainments and activities are all lined up to make it a great day.

Entry is free but we do charge £1 to park cars all day in the church car park.

Vouchers can be purchased for 50p each to take part in the activities. Support our stalls selling all sorts of interesting items, buy a raffle ticket and enjoy the BBQ and refreshments.

Children can have a great time with the arena games!

See you there!

To book a stall pitch please leave an email message on office@bcichurches.org.uk (subject Blendworth Village Fete 2020) and we will get back to you or call Mike Williams 07736 392382

High Lights from previous Fetes!

Following the success of the Blendworth Village Fete in June 2016 celebrating the Queen’s 90th Birthday, we have now completed our 4th Fete with the kind and generous permission of the owners of Blendworth House!

2019 was the first year it was a bit wet and windy but we persevered and succeeded against all odds!

We were delighted to welcome the Chief Constable of Hampshire, Olivia Pinkney, as our Official Fete Opener for 2018 and also to acknowledge the kindness and generosity of former East Hampshire District Councillor Elaine Tickell who returned to open the event in 2019. Our grateful thanks also goes to EHDC Councillors David Evans and Chris Hatter who provided support through their Councillor Community Support Grant scheme for 2019.

Doubly delighted too that Blendworth Brass Band, The Forest of Bere Bowmen, TS Tenancity NTC, Achoired Taste Choir and the Rotary Club of Waterlooville Ukelele Band joined us for this event.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along with stalls, games, refreshments, entertainment and a willingness to take part and have fun.

We are planning to do it again in 2020 – Saturday 13th June is the date running from 11.00am until 5pm.

Details to follow in the new year, but should you wish to take part or have a stall please leave an email message on office@bcichurches.org.uk (subject Blendworth Village Fete 2020) and we will get back to you!
