At Easter time across the Benefice we celebrate Holy Week when Christ entered Jerusalem riding on an ass and greeted by hundreds of palm waving people, only to be accused, tried and crucified on what is known as Good Friday.

At Holy Trinity, and throughout our benefice, we celebrate Easter and the Resurrection and as is traditionally the case in all churches after a flower free period of Lent, the church is once more adorned with a blaze of beautiful arrangements loving put together by our dedicated flower ladies now led by Barbara Howell. We have even had an Easter Saturday wedding where the couple and their guests will be able to enjoy these magnificent creations.

We create our traditional Easter Garden every year at this time, often helped by members of our Junior Church.

Even if you are not a regular church goer, there is something special about services are at Easter time. Do come and take part. You will be made very welcome our services are family friendly. There are Easter egg hunts for the children!

We said ‘goodbye and thank you’ to the Reverend Ruth Loveman on her ‘retirement’ as Associate Priest.  Ruth may be retired but she still takes some services for us! Thank you, Ruth!
