Getting married is a wonderful part of life deserving the best location to make your marriage vows in the presence of God.
In our three churches we have the beautiful settings that will help to make your day complete with the help of our Clergy, choir, organists, sides people and flower advisors.
We also provide a wedding preparation communication workshop that helps couple understand what it really means to share a life together.
It is not essential to be living in the parishes to be allowed to marry in any of the Benefice churches, however, there are some requirements that you will need to fulfil.
If you would like to know more about our services, fees and the legal requirements for the reading of Banns of Marriage in ANY of the Benefice Churches, please contact Carol in the Benefice Office on (023) 9259 7023 or email email@example.com
We give wedding couples the group opportunity to attend a ‘Wedding Nuts and Bolts’ Session on a Saturday morning in October (28th of 2017!)where you get the chance to talk to the team who will make your day special. It is worth mentioning that the cost of having the four part harmony choir is very affordable and not as expensive as you may think. The choir obviously helps with the hymns which will assist you and your guests with singing what may be unfamiliar hymns and also will sing anthems and specially requested songs during the signing of the register, all for the flat rate.
The choir will sing in any of the three churches as part of your wedding celebration.
We also know of a beautiful 1950s Rolls Royce Silver Wraith that is available to hire as a wedding car and this is what she looks like…..
If you are interested in hiring this car for your special day please call Sara on 07771 684585
Caroline and Matthew Williams were married at Holy Trinity Blendworth.
Wedding Blessing starts the New Year!
Congratulations and Best Wishes to Tom and Lucy Birt who had their marriage blessed at St Hubert’s, Idsworth on Saturday 2nd January 2016.
Lucy is the youngest daughter of Venerable Dr Trevor and Mrs Lesley Reader and the service was led by Trevor, who was a past Rector of the Benefice.
It was a joyous family occasion with all those who attended bravely meeting the challenge of the very wet and blustery waether!
Lucy and Tom were married in Australia where they now live.
Congratulations too go to the new Mr and Mrs Bates (Gillian and Paul) married at Holy Trinity Church in August 2016.
Note that the altar is the place where the wedding registered are signed so the whole congregation gets to see this taking place.
If you have been married in any of our benefice churches and would like to have your wedding photo posted on our pages, please get in touch. We would love to show them!
