The preparation sessions will be weekly, and the service will take place at the Cathedral. If you would like to know more about Confirmation, please drop me an email and I would be happy to discuss this with you. NEWS AND NOTICES
• The Licensing Service for Revd Richard Hutchins will be held on Saturday 14 March 4.00pm at All Saints’ Church Catherington followed by refreshments in the Church Hall.
• Come and Sing Evensong at Chalton Sunday 29 March. All singers welcome to join us in singing a celebration of Stanford at Evensong. Rehearsal is at 2.30pm and the service starts at 4pm (Music will be provided). There will be an opportunity for refreshments between the rehearsal and service at The Red Lion Pub.
• RSCM Praise and Proms! Saturday 22 February 7.30pm at All Saints’ Church, Denmead. Come along and sing some of your favourite hymns and worship songs. Tickets £5 at the door.
• Tickets for the Shrove Tuesday Supper can be purchased from David and Jo Lougher (Holy Trinity Blendworth) £10 janddlougher@gmail.com
• Care Home Friends workshop at St. John’s Church Centre on Saturday 15th February from 9.45am until 12.45pm. Training volunteers to offer friendship and support to care home residents in their local area who may not have any visitors and often feel a little isolated.
